The stages of your journey
Highlights
Day-by-day itinerary

Amman & As-Salt
Start your day with breakfast, followed by a visit of Amman. Explore the ancient and modern capital of Jordanie, originally built on seven hills. From the citadel, one of the highest hills, admire a splendid view of the old city. Discover the citadel, the Roman Theatre, archaeological and folklore museums, as well as King Abdullah's mosque.
Head towards As-Salt, located just 25 km from Iraq Al Amir. Discover this charming town proud of its history, with its yellow sandstone architecture. The town, known as Saltus in Roman times, flourished in the Middle Ages, and you can find the ruins of an Ayyubid fortress from the early 13th century.
The local experience with a resident includes lunch. Umm Omar, an As-Salt resident, has been preparing homemade jams and other local products since her childhood. Growing up, she assisted her grandmother who used seasonal fruits and vegetables to create various jams.
Visit to the city of Salt
Discovery of Al-Hammam Street, the oldest and most lively street in the city, named after a Turkish bath. This narrow pedestrian street winds around the hill, lined with traditional Ottoman stone buildings dating back 150 years.
Exploration of the old souks, filled with the scents of spices and vibrant colors. Stroll through the city center to admire 19th-century Ottoman houses, recognizable by their varied hues and characteristic windows. Among them, the Abu Jaber house, located on the main square, once belonged to a wealthy Ottoman merchant.

Olive Traditions and Jerash Visit
After a hearty breakfast, head to Dibeen where a member of a local family will welcome you for an authentic experience in the heart of their olive groves. Depending on the time of year, you will have the opportunity to participate in the green olive harvest in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The olives picked will then be placed in baskets to be washed, dried on traditional stones, then salted and mixed with lemon in preparation for preservation in jars.
Outside of harvest season, you can participate in a culinary workshop featuring olives and olive oil, with typical dishes such as:
Marinated olives
Labaneh with olive oil
Galaieh with olive oil
Potatoes sautéed in olive oil
Olive oil and Zaatar
Zalabia, sweet fried pastry in olive oil
Taboon bread topped with olives, rosemary and brushed with olive oil
Tea, Arabic coffee and water will also be served.
After this culinary experience, visit an olive oil press to discover the pressing process and savor fresh olive oil, while enjoying its intoxicating aromas.
The day will continue with an exploration of Jerash, famous for its impressive archaeological site.
Stroll along the colonnade street, visit the amphitheater, churches, temples and the vast Roman forum. Jerash, recognized as the city of 1,000 pillars, is one of the best preserved Roman cities. Its golden age under Roman rule left an exceptional legacy, and thanks to excavations and restorations carried out over the past 70 years, it offers a remarkable example of provincial urbanism in the Middle East

Discovery Day in Madaba and Kerak
After breakfast, departure towards the Kings Road to visit Madaba, nicknamed "the city of mosaics", is one of the most memorable destinations in the Holy Land. Among its many sites to explore, the 6th-century Byzantine mosaic map, illustrating Jerusalem and other holy cities, is particularly impressive. This work of art is located inside the Church of Saint George.
Continue your excursion with a transfer to Mount Nebo. This place, famous for being where Moses glimpsed the holy land of Canaan, is also considered his burial site. As the most venerated sacred site in Jordan, Mount Nebo has been a pilgrimage destination for early Christians. The first church of Mount Nebo was built in the late 4th century to emphasize its historical importance. Beneath the mosaic pavement of the Moses Memorial Church, six tombs from different periods have been discovered. The current presbytery preserves mosaic remains, including an ancient panel depicting a braided cross.
After crossing the Wadi Al Mujeb canyon, continue your journey towards Kerak.
In Kerak, visit Saladin's fortress, an ancient Crusader fortress which, surrounded by the fortifications of the old town, stands at 900 metres altitude. With a population of around 170,000 inhabitants, Kerak features a variety of restored 19th-century Ottoman buildings, as well as a wide choice of restaurants and hotels. Nevertheless, the Kerak Castle remains the undisputed symbol of the city.
End your day with a trip to the Dana Nature Reserve.
Arrival in the evening at Dana, where you can check in to the hotel for dinner and spend the night.

Adventure Day in the Dana Nature Reserve and Historical Discovery in Petra
After breakfast, transfer to the Dana Nature Reserve, where you can enjoy a moderate hike lasting 2 hours.
Accessible year-round, except during Ramadan, this hike is conducted only with a guide. The route, which covers a distance of 3 km, requires round-trip transportation from the Al-Barra region. It is important to note that you should not be afraid of heights.
This circular trail begins at Al-Barrah, leads you through an impressive siq and reaches the magnificent Shaq al Reesh. The Dana Nature Reserve covers approximately 308 km² and is a true treasure of biodiversity, composed of valleys and mountains ranging from the heights of the Rift Valley to the desert plains of Wadi Araba, with an elevation gain of over 1600 meters. It features a diversity of landscapes, from forested highlands to rocky slopes, as well as plains and sand dunes, while hosting many rare species of plants and animals.

In the afternoon, continue your adventure southward to explore the remains of the ancient Crusader fortress, the Shobak Fortress, located less than an hour north of Petra. Built by Baldwin I, King of Jerusalem, in 1115, Shobak, formerly known as "Mont Real", bears witness to the fascinating history of the region.
Continue your journey to the Rose City and visit "Little Petra", the Siq el-Bared site, which was once a passage for Nabataean merchants.
Finally, settle into your hotel for the night, after a pleasant dinner in Petra.

Petra, the rose city of the desert
Start your day with a delicious breakfast before departing for an unforgettable visit to the city of Petra, carved by the Nabataeans. These artisans created majestic tombs, palaces, temples and treasures in sandstone with shades of pink and gold
The excursion begins with a 700-meter horseback ride to the entrance of the narrow and impressive gorge, the Sîq, which will lead you to discover the emblematic monument: the Treasury.
Continue your adventure through the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, the Cardo, as well as various temples, churches and museums.
As a wonder of the world and UNESCO World Heritage site, Petra is an invaluable treasure of Jordanie, attracting millions of visitors each year. This exceptional city, carved into the rock by the Nabataeans, bears witness to a dynamic Arab civilization that flourished here over 2000 years ago.
Return to your hotel in Petra for the night.

Exploration of Wadi Rum: Immersion in the Heart of the Jordanian Desert
After a delicious breakfast, we will transfer to Wadi Rum, where we will begin an unforgettable adventure in the largest and most spectacular desert of Jordanie, known as the Valley of the Moon.
We will embark on a four-hour excursion in a 4x4 off-road vehicle through this majestic landscape. T.E. Lawrence described Wadi Rum as "vast, resonant and divine", words that perfectly capture the magic of this place.
We will end the day with a delicious dinner and spend the night in a camp in the heart of Wadi Rum.

Relaxation and Natural Benefits at the Dead Sea
Breakfast at the camp, then departure via the Araba road towards the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the planet, located 1,306 feet below sea level.
Relaxation and swimming in salt waters
Surrounded by mountains to the east and the hills of Jerusalem to the west, the Dead Sea offers an almost unreal landscape. According to biblical tradition, this region is said to have been home to five legendary cities: Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboim and Zoar.
The therapeutic benefits of the Dead Sea
Known for more than 2,000 years for its beneficial properties, the Dead Sea offers a unique combination of climate, water, mud and air, renowned for relieving various chronic conditions such as dermatological problems (psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, vitiligo), respiratory disorders (asthma), as well as other pathologies such as arthritis, circulatory problems, hypertension and certain ophthalmological conditions.
Experience a unique sensation: naturally floating on the water thanks to its exceptional salinity, nine times higher than that of the oceans.
